Description

I decided to sculpt a sketch I made to redesign my friend's character as a way of showing him what it'd look like as a real world object. So far he loves it and has let me post. The creature comes in several stages, so the sculpts will too (I hope). I'm making some armor for someone at the moment (as well as getting a book ready for Image) so I may not have time to jump into this sculpt again for awhile.

Really awesome creature! Excellent sculpting as is always the case with your Zbrush works. I'm wondering though, for practical purposes, regarding the way his pectoral muscles seem to "merge" with his bicep area (this could just be a visual illusion of sorts depending on the angle of view), if that wouldn't give his shoulder girdle some drastic limitation in range of motion. Seems like he wouldn't be able to lift his arms very high, and with those totally impressive claws, I would imagine evolution suggests he would have some really wide range of shoulder rotation. No matter, it's still one very impressive creation!
