Description
This is the last god I've designed for a 3D challenge at another forum. I think this is the winner but I have one more day before I HAVE to start modeling, so opinions are welcome. Quetzalcoatl is a Axtec god described as a "feathered snake". I hope I did him justice.

That's a nice name....and a damn fine pic, jack. Reminds me of my own snake creature i once did, only that was a voodoo type o god. Keep up the good work.
My only gripes would be that the head looks just off centre, and perhaps you should lengthen the tail. Not only will that add mass to the beast, but serve as a better counter balance. At the moment he's very top heavy and may fall down a lot. ;) The rest is very good. Keep it up dude.
I always thought "he" was a feather-winged snake? I'm sure I'm wrong, but thats what I thought. Not that it matters, since this is a really cool design
Thanks gang! Well, the text I found on him didn't make an actual reference to wings but instead that "he" was covered in feathers. I just used the description as a loose base from which to design the character.
Quezacoatl is a aztec god (of life and resurection...something like that) where axactly did you get the name from? quezacotl can also be found in Final Fantasy 8, i dont know how the aztecs painted queza, but i dont think the snake head fits...
I see I made a typo up there, yeah, he's an Aztec God but every description I have of him describes him as a feathered Snake and the God of Creation.
Ajale! y esto? Yes, Quetzalcoatl its described in a few ways, but never as a winged snake, just it feather. I to think he is very build on the top, but this design fit the God very well.
