Description

A fine hello to all my wonderful friends here at Rosity. I haven't posted a lot this summer due to me feeling so bad. It seems everyone is posting so I thought oh my I must get the fever as well *grin* So I looked through and found several and 3 or 4 images caught my eye and will post them later, but this red lily that just came up from nowhere caught my eye. I didn't plant it, so it was a lovely gift and someone upstairs must have known I needed a bright pick me up and this one did it.I have no idea what the name of this lily is so I just called it my Firelily *grin* I love the fire red color. I just did the one step fix, hue and saturation, sharpened and softened the image, and added a border. Did not use a frame again as I thought it would take away from the photo. I saw my Dr again today. They took me off the patches and I am glad as they made me so groggy, but replaced it with MS Contin 60 mg a Morphine type drug with a timed-released. I take 2 twice daily and then for the breakthrough, I take Morphine15mg prn or as needed, keeping a journal on how much I take and today is the first day I have felt like sitting up in months. They are going to let my Dr decide on wether or not to keep me on my Percocet. I hope they do, but if they don't it's no big deal. Will take all I have not to lash out at the nurses when I go to take chemo Thursday and will have to go in hubby's truck as my car is slightly on the sick side too. Going to get it fixed. Have to have a vehicle to get where ya need to go and who has 20 dollars to pay a taxi to get there and 20 to get back. Last year the Cancer Society sent me Gas vouchers to get there, so may give them a call to see if they will help me once again. I am just hoping this med they have put me on helps me feel this good and will continue to do so.. The nurses had no right to interfere with my meds without talking to me first. They have no idea about my pain level or how bad I hurt. I wonder how they would like it if it were them and someone pulled them off their meds. I don't think they would be smiling either. Thank you for all your comments and support on my last image and most of all for your care and concern. You all are the best. All work on this image was done in Photoshop9 Just added a border. Hugs, Susan

A superb shot of this fire lily, sweet sis. It glows from within!!! I think you are also right about no frame!! This is gorgeous work. I hope and I pray so hard that you meds will be correctly balanced and that you will be pain free. I can only imagine having the worry of the car to get you to the hospital.. I am so sorry for all the problems you face, dear Susan. I hope they improve soon. Gentle hugs and prayers, always for you and yours. Diane. xx

Susan, this is such a beautiful lily and exceptional capture. when people have every day aches and pains they are worried, but many do not appreciate having good health. if many could just experience one whole day of pain that some people must endure they would have a different outlook.I sincerely wish you the best and I know you are a champion and will progress to better health
