Her eyes are so soulful! :) It has a very photo quality about it and the lighting is very nicely balanced. I really do believe she's outdoors in that meadow, maybe around high noon the way the light burn is flashing off her forehead. Very nice; she fits right into the scene seemlessly, Jayne. The only thing that gives it away that it's not a photo is the mane. I have a hard time rendering it, too. I always have to put pointlights all around it, or if that doesn't work, repaint it. For just messing around though, you have a very nice render of a beautiful horse at mid-day in the meadow. Wonderful! :)
