Description
"The hardest thing in life to learn is which bridge to cross and which to burn." ~ David Russell
Here is another infrared scene from the Morikami Japanese Gardens. I had to stand atop a rock to reach a high enough vantage so that the shrubbery was not blocking my view. Instead, it sets off the foreground nicely. I toyed with cloning out that wispy of cloud from the threatening sky, but in the end left it as it keeps the eye circulating around the image. ------
Thanks for your turfy comments on my previous upload,

Bridge on the River Kwai. With lovely white foliage surrounding the foreground and cotton candy and ominous clouds serving as a backdrop, a par excellent shot of the path to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Great POV, contrast and textural effects in this effort.
PERFECT CAPTURE & COMPOSITION !!!!!
Beautiful! Excellent view!!!
One of your best!!! I love this. ;o)
You created a new meaning to green vegetation, lol. Beautiful job. Aloha
A super shot and this bridge looks to hold such promise. I like your little saying too.
Very fitting indeed. It certainly has the quality of winter and the sky adds her moodiness to the scene. Another fine example of IR photography with the Kort touch. Thank you for sharing. egmont
I can taste the Candy right now ! Magical capture and nifty footwork, just dig those IR colours, well done Bro' ! ~Cheers~ :o)

First thought, how totally zen. I should have guessed it was this place. Beautiful, I'd love to hang out there and just be.
Fantastic view. Superb!!!
Spectacular image!!!
Lovely image.
Then perfect picture to a perfect saying... Amazing picture... I hope that´s the bridge to cross...
yeah, I think this is my fave of all the IR images. You composed this shot just right, made all the right decisions! Leaving that bit of cloud was perfect, I think if you'd taken it out, the picture wouldn't have worked as well.
Superb image! Love it!
Another delightful fairy tale of an image. Outstanding!
breathtaking beauty...
