Description
Guide My Way In and Out
A Faraway place
Long forgotten
Hidden in me eyes
A deep inside
My soul I see
Hidden in the dark
My eyes with tears
Look in the mirror
Outside I feel
Cold water shivers
Teeth chatter too
Too much time
Taken for a ride
Gentle flame sees
Crickets chirp
Rivers flow
Changes beyond
Far-reaching grasp
Mr. Moon
Window eyes
Guide my way
Let me see
The sun tonight
The wild love
The love in me
That haunts inside
As it creeps outside
A dip in mind
Jumping, splashing
Trembling skin
Did I catch a fish?
Tickle me pink
Baby full of kisses
Curled in your arms
Mr. Moon shines too

Do you remember the Bee Gees??? They had a hit song around 1971 entitled: "Lonely Days", Good morning mister sunshine, you brighten up my day. Come sit beside me in your way. I see you every morning, outside the restaurants, The music plays so nonchalant. Just a melody that came to me from the distant past after reading your words!!! :~I

A superb image, sweet Linda. I love "gentle flame sees". Beautiful to read your words. Gentle Hugs. Diane.
This is a very wistful poem, but there is also comfort in it, almost as a mode of healing. Poignant poetry it is, Linda. The ending is truly wonderful. Big smiles, dear friend. Suzanne
