A recurring character from “the Table of Five”, a Dungeons & Dragons campaign set in the Silver Marches of the Forgotten Realms. “From the instant Daemon entered Faelar’s chamber, his eyes locked upon one figure. Nykira had changed since he saw her last. A new confidence and strength sparkled in her eyes. Even the adventurer’s leathers she wore in place of a silk gown and her shorten hair, made her no less bewitching. In his mind he saw her as he had always wanted her to be… naked and willing to be his! A sly smile started to turn his lips as visions of increasingly perverse acts he would have her perform swirled in his mind. “Ah, Daemon.” The voice snapped him from his fantasies. “Faelar, you seem… well,” he exclaimed in true surprise, looking past the object of his desire to the patriarch of the Nightstar House for the first time since entering the room. “Not well yet, but I am recovering,” Faelar sat propped up upon his bed and, though tainted with sadness, his voice was strong. “I very nearly followed your father to Arvandor, but for Nykira and her… companions. Our illness was no such thing. It was poison! And I swear, we shall see the villain brought low!” “Yes… of course we shall,” Daemon stammered weakly, honest shock and surprise written upon his face.” One of the few remaining of the Faerondarl clan, from a small branch that survived in Evermeet during the fall of Myth Drannor, Daemon is a clever and ambitious young moon elf. The son of a long time friend and rival of Faelar Nightstar, Daemon has harbored a none too secret desire for Nykira since they were little more then children. But she sensed his cold and empty heart long ago, and rebuffed his every advance, despite her father’s dream of uniting their family’s businesses. Which eventually drove her from Everlund. With Nykira’s departure, Daemon turned his interests to her elder sister Talindra, but she too sensed the soulless void within him, resisting both his advances, and her father’s encouragement. Daemon seized control of his family’s merchant business, when his father died from the same poisoning that nearly killed Faelar, but the Nightstars suspicions quickly created a rift between the families. Leaving the ambitious young elf with half the prize he sought to claim, and still lusting for the one thing he desires most… Nykira Nightstar. Thanks for looking... Hope you enjoy!
