Pinkie toe shy
So little you are
Hide behind
The tears that pour
Made a mark
Little black dot
One day must be
Ought to see
Laughter spoke
Comes a sound
Nobody heard
Thought to see
Sit and wonder
Nobody sees
Really knows
What to think
Middles to cross
Roads that follow
Ridges see crumble
Come tumbling down
Stuck sometimes
Which way to go
Hold on sweetie pie
Goodbye seems so final
Little footprints

Do not be afraid
To walk away

The fit of image and poem is perfect. Your poem strikes me as something many experience at one time or other in their lives. It is part of the journey we make.
