Description
One last shot from the top of Mt St Helens. This is looking east toward Mt Adams, about 30 miles away.
This is probably the best view I got into the crater, and it's not much LOL. But it does show a bit of what the rim and the crater look like.
Now on to some shots with some green in them, maybe even a waterfall or two. :-)

Takes a lot of courage to just being there. At any moment...this could go off. Such an intense and powerful capture with beauty awaiting in the background. Again, my hats off to you... Excellent... Aloha
Well, I'll be. I had no idea it looked like that! How interesting! I imagined more debris, more rocks just lying around. Thinking about it, though, I bet everything that isn't nailed down just rattles around, blows away, or falls back in! Amazing shot. Thanks!
What a great shot Dennis. I, too, had no idea that the crater looked like this. It is really fascinating to see it so close. You really saw it up close and personal. Great job!!
Certainly demonstrates the sheer power of nature when this mountain blew its top, great shot!!!

You are braver than I am. :~) I didn't think it would look like this either. Don't know what I expected, exactly..... Great shot anyway.
Beautiful view...
Great series Dennis. This crater shot is awesome and makes me feel a bit small. ;-)
Went to the rim? Cool! Fascinating shot!
