Description
these are in a state park near Wills Point,Texas.they were hard to photograph because there was an overcast and the leafs and webs cut out the available light but the glare from the clouds prevented exposing the sky.not to my satisfaction, but maybe you can get some idea of the size.there were many spiders of various types and so many insects caught in the web including 1000's of mosquitoes thank God.they were not as huge as the tv stations tried to say
Mrs. Lubner asked me if I was going so I dedicate these to her
yesterday's post was 3 pictures.one was a pool being drained and the water swirling down the hole.another was multiple fountains that I removed one stream for my purpose.the blue cast water was from another fountains 30 miles away from the first two.after putting together I tried Mehdi kaleidescope and the result was so weird I decided to post
thanks for viewing and any comments

Incredible ! Never seen such huge nests ! ! ! Thanks for sharing Richard !
Very well done!
Great pictures Richard. Despite what is true or what the news says, that is still too many spiders for Toni. Picture yes. In person, no. It's so good when you bring the view!
These made the newspapers out here in the Bay Area..they made it seem as if the whole area was taken over..
May be difficult to capture and to share !!! perhaps if you add more contrast we can better seen the thousand spiders and flies.......full size gives better effect !

The Spiders are taking over! We humans are doomed. I heard something about these large webs on NPR. Great captures,Richard.
So many webs... They may get washed away in the flash floods if your in that area... Quite unusual and eerie too in it's own way Excellent capture... I like the bottom two best:) Hugs Susan~

my son (25) would die or fright if he saw what has created these huge webs, he hates spiders...he saves me from the frogs and i save him from the spiders...lol fabulous shots very interesting
Incredible...they are so big...i think about the time those spiders needed to create such beauty, splendid capture!!:-)
Wow Richard fantastic capture. You are so unique and diversified in your work. Without a doubt 5+
Wow ,I have never see that before, thanks for share.
Army worms or tent caterpillars came in the 50's to our area. They were like a plague of locusts. Folks would burn the nests with torches. I missed at least one of yours yesterday. My eyes blur over as I scan the pages. I used to use favorites and ebots but folks would complain when I went on trips or vactions and then read them enass on return. Hard to get someone under your thumb when they keep slipping away. I'm just a "walk away."
Amazing!
Creepy but cool Richard :o) ~ Hugs ~
