Description

Some of you may have seen this view in my gallery before. Although the traditional view to Wolfs Rock lighthouse is spectacular, this is still my personal favourite. The rock structure on the left always fascinates me and looks almost man made. Highlight of this weekend was seeing my first basking shark feeding near the surface. I took this with my new cam (better pano mode) and also managed to find a few clouds this time. Anyway hope you like it and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

What facinates me is that one can see into the water and follow the base of the rocks. The structure of the rocks is also very interesting. It reminds me a little when I traveled along the Irish coast up to see Yeats' grave, hoping it might rub off a little talent on me. Apart from the breath taking location from where you captured this marvelous scene, it is also perfect for a plein air artist to paint. Thank you for sharing. Hope you weekend was great. egmont

Where are all the heads of the martyrs buried so their feet could be in John de Groat land? I see maidens waving to the sailors sailing to the new world.
