Beautiful flower... very fine Errol !
i don´t know the flower, but the capture is superb!
we have one very similar here but do not know the name here. very beautiful and equally your capture
I do believe it's: "Foxglove Camelot Rose" look here: and type in foxglove... http://www.burpee.com/home.do Great shot Errol these plants are medicinal too, I know the Japanese might grow them for decorations, but hidden lies a wonderful treatment for heart conditions!!! Digitalis purpurea (Foxglove) That should suffice the information mongers!!!! Aloha...
Most beautiful floral expression and stunning presentation. Bravo!
Look related to Snap Dragons to me, and I sort of think I might have heard they were related to Foxgloves as nongo identifies it, so that would make sense I guess. Whatever they are, they're beautiful!
I have no idea what it's name is but it is such a pretty flower and you have captured it beautfully. Bravo, Errol!
I saw these too before but my names of plants is very little. Wish I knew more on names. Very bad with human names too. very good shot
What a lovely photo. I believe this is known as 'Obedient Plant', also officially named as Physostegia. I have a white one here, (Physostegia virginiana, Alba) The flowers are quite small, and the tallest 'spike' of flowers here is just under 3' tall. Does that fit with yours? Your photo is a delight to view!
I have no clue, but they look like flowers I would like in my yard...nice work here! Aloha~
can't name it, but excellent shot. purple and green go so well together!!

Hi Errol, this looks so pretty and delicate, very nice! 8-)
I don't know what it is but I'd love to have it in my garden too! So delicate and gentle... wonderful.
Very nicely done. And welcome home. I believe this is a variety of lavender. Japan has so many variety of flowers it isn't funny. The people take special vacations just to see the different flowers in bloom. Looking forward to more pictures of Japan. Aloha
I know I have seen something similar, but I can't name it. And it doesn't matter to me, it's a beautiful shot even without a name!
Love the soft purple color of this flower. Sorry I don't know a name of it.
I don't know, looks like good old snapdragons to me but I wouldn't bet on it. Lovely soft colors and textural effects in this capture, Shark.
Very beautiful ........... Congratulations!!! Roby ;O) ;O) ;O)

Beautiful image! The flowers do look like foxglove, but foxglove generally only grows with one flower cluster all the way up a single stalk. Hmmmmm. I'm not much help - sorry!
