Description
Captured 8/20/07, around 8:13 AM, about .20 of a mile from my domicile.
I dedicate this to TwoPynts, who posted a similar shot on 8/19/07, inspiring me to follow up and take a shot of sunflowers in my neighborhood. Without his photo, I would have never thought of looking behind the flower.
This is the first time I've ever seen a flower that was more, or just as, interesting from the back as from the front.
Also, as an added feature, snip off the petals and pistil and you have a ready made back scratcher.
Have a nice day and weekend.

Now this has WOW factor Harry! I love it! The colours, lighting and composition are perfect and the textures on your "back scratcher" are amazing. A great capture indeed. xx
Wonderful colors and light, the details are fantastic too. Superb shot!
Hairy wee bugger, lol. Excellent capture, Harry. The detail is perfectly captured and the bright yellow is soooooo warm and lovely. Great one!
back and front. got to give it to nature; she thinks all around. cool shot here and wonderful details
Ya know, most ladies don't like it if you take a picture of their behind but it seems this pretty little sunflower didn't mind at all. :-) It is wonderful to see the tips of the back pieces with a bit of yellow on the points. Guess being able to see that means "you done good!" LOL Does this successful capture mean we will be seeing more "behind" shots from you now?
Very beautiful and excellent composition ! Good day :)
Lovely view from the underside... I really like those green leaves that look like petals. Great POV.
Vibrant colour, great composition, and stunning detail make this a wonderful shot!
This is sharp! Love the other view of this bright yellow besuty with a "hairy" skin. Good one Harry!
Wow - this is just spectacular! This is certainly right up there with your all-time greatest photos, imho. Gorgeous!!!
LOL! Nice
