Ya know, more than the ropes here, I think I love the wood more. Such a variety of grains, wear, sun bleaching, water staining... absolutely wonderful.
So many things to feast your eyes on in this picture. The ropes, the colours, the wood, the textures! A veritable feast for the eyes! Great shot!
Great shot!

Nice shot. Reminds me of Portland.
Wonderful textures, and the light is great!
Excellent tones of colour, including good dynamic composition. As for the subject matter, it is right on! Have a great weekend. Thank you for sharing. egmont
fine work!
Nice shot....
Excellent ! Good day :)
Excellent colour, tone and textures.
is this inside of a boat? unique capture and pov
I too was thinking boat at first but there are a couple of things that say if it a small boat it doesn't go out much. First the nails, obviously repair work and the bolt. The large round pole looks like it should be part of a mast rather than support, if it truely is support then there must be more than one deck which could be why nails and bolts were used. I could go on like this contemplating just what I am looking at. Your photos are always a delight to view, always helps to keep my brain cells active. Impressive shot.
