Description
Nikon 7900 image.
I have a number of Dragonflies who like to rest on some steps of my front porch. Usually they are Common White-tails but on occasion, other species use this spot also. I have a number of pics of them.
I see them regularly but almost always, just one at a time. Therefore I was pretty happy to catch two of them at once as they shared some quality time together.
While looking thru recent downloads, I got an idea. I decided to add a third Dragon to my already captured two. They had all landed on my steps and been photographed but not all at the same time. A little work with digital editing and suddenly there are three where there were once only two, lol. Kind of a time lapse manipulation, lol.
The one with a white tail is a mature male Common White-Tail. The green one is either an immature male or a female Eastern Pondhawk and the remaining one is a female Common White-Tail.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.
