I once knew the difference between budgees and parakeets. It's a sex thing as the ballerina showed me the cuttlebone in the cage and my guy friends showed me how to get them to perch on your hand and how to put papers on the floor of the cage.
Reminds me of the antics of my budgies (now long gone I'm afraid), lovely colours.

Sorry about the late comment, but I have been on holiday. I saw this and I thought of my dear departed dad. He used to breed budgies when I was a little girl and I called everyone of them Joey!!! This is a gorgeous shot Danny! Thank you!
