Description
Most of the way back down the mountain, we looked back up and saw this cloud, obviously coming for us. So I did what any photographer would do; I shot it. Interestingly enough, within a minute or so, it was completely gone. But I was still glad that I wasn't up there when the weather was creating clouds like this. One more from this hike and we'll move on to new adventures. :-)
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Kinda looks like Mr. Cloud is havin' a bad hair day... :o) Excellent photo!
That's a really unusual cloud. Sort of like it was born of a blender and then dumped out in the sink... :-) A somewhat unhappy cloud with too much time on its hands. Very interesting shot. I like the way it hangs there and you can see the snowy mountain behind.
Awesome shot!
gasp You SHOT it! How horrid L It scurried away all fretful I bet... Off to bug someone else! Terrific capture ... You captioned it superbly! TY for sharing your adventures!
Not only are you an excellent photographer, but you make me laugh, too! This is great! I'm sure if you hadn't shot it there, it would have gone after someone else. Thanks for keeping the Pacific Northwest safe!
What an impressive shot. Wonderful light and colors. Looks outstanding!!
awesome shot...great cloud formation.
Fantastic! Glad you shot it.
A great cloud, a great picture, and great comments. I've had a lot of chuckles this morning reading the comments. Speaking of great, you're the greatest for taking us along on your hikes so we can see the beauty of Oregon. Thanks!
Whoa, this guy looks dangerous, all ragged and determined! Glad you escaped. This is a seriously fine portrait. :)

Superb lighting within this cloud and wonderful colours. I think I'd be a little scared if it were coming after me!! Glad you shot it though. xx
Very beautiful and well done!
Bloody brilliant! Last week in the gallery, here you come!
Ha, that cloud totally looks like it is up to some alien activity! What a great shot. It reminds me of what it looks like at the Mitad del Mundo in Ecuador.
Beautiful cloud capture...
Coincidence?? Great story as well as a great picture.
WOW! The angle you took this shot from really give one the feeling that they are way up in the sky and yet with the mountain peak in the background leaves you feeling in total awe of mother nature!
