Description
I made this for the Renderosity Egg contest and know it's a bit different but I thought it was fun and well done. The images that won were absolutely well deserved and I think the judges did a great job choosing them.
What depressed me was that they listed a bunch of images as worthy of mentioning and mine wasn't there. I wish they hadn't done that. I guess I had 'entrant's remorse' because that upset me a bit. I figured the image sucked and I didn't bother posting it. Well, here it is anyway, lol. As long as I still like, why should I care, right?
Now I feel like a baby...wawa, lol. The egg carriage was a freebie and I think it's called a 'hatchadrome'. Don't know who made it.

Not for nothing, dear, but it always feels like the people who win, have some kind of "in" with the judges. (nothing against the winners mind you). It's why I never participate in contests here anymore. Well done, did you use Hex? I'm having problems making a simple oblong shield. :P
the colours and fairy dust are outstanding. if you really want to know the kind of reaction this picture emotes read on: My (5 year old)daughter: what are you doing daddy? Me: looking at pictures? Daughter: can i see? Me: what one do you like? Daughter selects burpees thumbnail/ dad clicks on it. Daughter gasps!! ITS BEAUTIFUL...CINDERELLA!! Me: why do you like it? Daughter: its magical. note: none of daddys pictures are magical (lol)

Thank you for showing us. :)
This is a wonderful image and work! :)
This image and your work in general is worthy of commercial production let alone honorable mention in a ro contest. Bravo on the gem! it is a great!!!!!
contests means nothing. this is super looking here. at lest the egg did not break and all the kingmen can not put it back together
Great image Nancy!!! Sometimes the choices in these contests are hard to understand. Sometimes the winners are images I don't like or think are that well crafted but that's the way the egg breaks. Sorry couldn't resist. This definitely has a magical story book feel to it!!!
A very lovely piece of art my friend!Lot of details and very creative all around!Full of magic! For me a winner!Brava!!!!
Beautiful and creative work...well done!!!:o)
Pure class. Definitely an original.
Egg-cellent concept and egg-ecution here, though I wouldn't want to ride in this when it gets a little ripe! As for the contest, I judged one earlier this year and it is dammed hard! There's always a bunch of really great images that just don't make the list, just cause you've got to make a choice and cut down the field. In any case, great work here!
I think it's wonderful! Very cute!
Is this one of those new fangled horseless carriage's? If so, the designer should have put the steering wheel in front so the driver could see the road...lol. It's a shame you didn't get some mention because it's outstanding in composition and colors. Beautiful fantasy image. Love the effort on the background and sky. The little glass slipper in front was a great touch. Big thumbs up Nancy! Hugs from Dave :^)
oozing with charm, and hard to see how another egg could be any better. digging it!
Thanks again everyone! As I said, the winning images were fantastic and well deserved. I think the judges did a great job picking winners. It was the 'mentionable' part I didn't care for. So many people got 'worth mentioning' that the few of us left out could only assume that we totally sucked. Just thought that was unnecessary and counter-productive.
Playful fantasy so very well executed. Eggxactly what the Queen ordered.
Amazing composition! Wonderful colors!Super!!5*
Exceptional and an instant favorite....!!!!!
reminds me of cinderella wins 5 stars here !!
I think it's soooooooooooooo cute!!! Glad you decided to post it!
faberge could not have designed a better egg. u were right to be upset.
Totally genial Nancy. Congrats ! To my favs.
I agree with the others, it's a nice render. I like how you put it on such a reflective surface, too. Very cute with just enough humor. Well done.
