Description
Another bit of pottery from Wight's Nursery in Lynnwood, Washington. That was a fun place to wander around in with the camera!
I was taken with the way the light provided such wonderful, subtle variations in reflection and shadow.
This one looks best to me in full view, zoomed in. (I even like the way it looks at 400 percent zoom!)

Wow, before reading your narrative, I thought it was the stem of two flowers! The texture, light and shadow is amazing. Well spotted!
Great catch here. Very nice, clean photo. wonderful use of shadows.
different and unique I like it
Good eye for the art! All those lovely plants & flowers and you're checking out the reflections and shadows in the pottery ... amazing. Wonderfully composed photo.
Very wow indeed! I love the shapes, colour, shadow, and the delightful details of the little imperfections in the shiny, glazed tiny 'drips' on the finish.
very cool, well seen. great detail shows off the textures of the pots.
Wow, this doesn't need to "be" anything. I just love the gradations in light and color. Well seen and captured.
Very cool shot!
Minimalistic lines and pleasant curves. The color is exceptional and the lighting very good.
Very simple, i love it !
What a fabulous idea taking a shot of the space between. A beautiful result ans gorgeous colors. Bravo Tara.
beautiful...totally my sort of picture
Fantastic light and details. Superb shot!
Great shadow details on this one. Great work. Excuse me for not mantioning already - very nice new avatar!
Very interesting and unique colors, gloss and textures displayed in this fine pottery composition. Okay, pottery aside, this looks like a view from a spacecraft heading for the narrow space between two very adjacent wet moons in a galaxy, far, far, away. Actually, according to astrophysicists, such close proximity between the large orbs would certainly have had devastating gravitational effects on one or both of them.
Very nice abstract capture!
Beautifully done image! A capture to capture the eye!!!
love the texture, colour and pov, great shot!
So original work!
Excelent capture of a pottery texture. Should run this shot in a Texture challenge too.
