Description

The concept and title of this album was inspired by a statement from a musician/fan/friend who about if they went into space, Wintermute music would be among the songs they would want to hear on the trip through the cosmos. Render/scene was done in Bryce 4.x and post and titles in Photoshop. The inspiration for the scene is obvious to any sci-fi or movie fan :)

I remember building the orbiter from 2001:Space Odyssey as a kid, a very nice representation of it.

Ah, the Orion III - one of my favorite close orbit subjects. Nice model and perspective.

there's a web site, I think it's called strafe.com, that has many of the 2001 models. It tickled me that they showed 2001 back in 2001..but I'm easily amused..;) great work.

A great 'tribute' to 2001! You've done a great job on this!
