Description

20 or more years ago an auto restorer or budding hot rodder would stumble upon a old car that had been discarded in an abandoned barn or old field. Long forgotten by it's former owner, the discoverer would be overjoyed at finding this lost treasure as his mind overflowed with ideas on how to restore or hot rod his new find.... Software/harwares used Paint Shop Pro ver 9, Artweaver, Wacom Graphire tablet and three digital photos I shot. The sky and clouds were hand painted by me in Artweaver as well as some of the tall grass.

I would be over the moon finding a Stingray too, actually a friend just sent me some pix of a barn chock full of old cars, mini coopers, stags...etc ! Probably a car thief, by the sheer amount of vehicles. I like your "ray" weathering and concept, well done ! ~Cheers~ :o)

Now you have added a new category. Where do fiberglass treasures hide out? They don't rust but they hate sun. Where are the Kaiser-Darrins the Lotus Elites and the Devins?

Oh boy what a find! This looks great good location choice. The hood is really well done. When I think back at the cars I could have had.A Logonda,a MK10 Jag in new condition with less than 10,000 mls on the clock for $200.,and a Plywood MG sportscar. But the best was a Rolls Phantom Which had been left to rot for $44.And now to say those imortal words ,"If only".Thanks Ken this is great.
