YES, it's absolutely looking COOL and you have created another masterpiece, congratulations, my dear!!
Beautiful shot of an ugly bug! You should get an invite to the Ugly Bug Ball, as the official photographer! This shot is so cool! I was just out in the yard chasing bee shots, nothing like this ever happens to me. #;0)
Fantastic clarity on the eye area, well captured and presented. It's good to know you become enthusiastic about bugs, it shows in the quality of your work.
Great photo again erland
A beautiful image, Shari.
Awesome capture!! Beautiful work!
Where do you keep coming up with all these bugs? :o) This is truly a unique shot ... don't think I've ever heard of a Bearded Robber Fly before. Exceptional clarity and DOF. Well done!
awesome critter with a scary name!
I still get excited when I shoot a new bug. Heck, I even get excited when someone else shoots a new bug. There are a lot of different species of Robberflies. Some of them are very small and some are really quite large. Some are bearded and some aren't. They all make a buzzing sound which reminds me of model airplane engines - a loud high pitched noise. Your joy in finding and capturing some of Mother Nature's little wonders is obvious in your words and images. May it always be so and may others get infected by it. Good capture. Thanks for sharing. Lee
