Description
This adorable child came to sit near me at the park the other day. I was so pleased that she either wanted to say hello to me or have her photo taken!
HA! It was neither....
She came over to beg for the fruit snacks that I had on the picnic table for the boys!! When she gave me this look, I was doomed and she left happily with her fruit snacks! lol
Since we were in the shade I used my new Speedlight SB-800 flash attachment with the camera on Aperture priority. Seems to work just fine!
Thanks for the visit.

Awwww, who wouldn't give her the snacks! In fact if I hadn't had any I would have run to the store.... how could anyone resist!!!!!! Wonderful shot of this sweetie and you must be one too!
JUST HOW SWEET IS SHE. GREAT EYES AND TERRIFIC LOOK
she is really an angel. most beautiful portrait
Fantastic timid glance... great portrait Odie!
Great shot of the little street urchin, doing what urchins do best...beg for food. She could do with some brushing of her hair. The flash effect came out perfectly, without the red eye or the bright reflections often seen in similar photos.
Nice image - and story. Beautiful all the way around.
Cute portrait....

A variant of the title: "Am I going to be a President of the US?" :-)))

Perfect use of the flash (although I'm not a fan) --> excellent child portrait !
Oh she's a charmer alright. Give her a few years and she'll have the guys lining up to give her diamonds and rubies and gold. Great shot.
stunning eyes bravissima
I think your flash produced near perfect fill in lighting and the capture deserves a high mark on the "oooh" and "aaah" scale considering the speed with which you had to capture. Edit: Good to see you excellent personal site and that you have mastered the html skills. ;)
