"If it's sent by ship then it's a cargo, if it's sent by road then it's a shipment." ~ Dave Allen
Another photo from the Port of Miami. Here we can see some of the giant cargo cranes in action, with the two new ones (11 & 12) from my previous post in the background. It is amazing the ammount of industry going on in a place like this. I left the image large because there are a lot of interesting details to be seen, so please give it a click! ------
Thank you for your pooled comments on my last upload,

Thanks Kort - fascinating big Mecanno set they got there :)
LOL at Onslow!! Great details and colours in this shot Kort. I took some shots of cranes on holiday but they look nothing by comparison to these!! Excellent capture. xx

I thought it was a Rubic's Cube :) Excellent and interesting photo. It amazes me how much tonnage the barge can carry. Fascinating look at the loading docks.
Such wonderfull and interesting details... great capture Kort!
The name almost seems backwards (cargo-shipment). Its amazing how these containers stay put during sea travel. Interesting shot. Aloha
interssting work bravo
Great shot!! Physics has never been my strong point, I don't know how something that big does not sink!
fabulous! I love this colorful shot of the port. I wish it was bigger because there are still details that allude me. All that going on and I see no humans - I would think they would be swarming like ants all over getting things loaded. I'd love to be the one to sit in that control room (I assume that's what it is) at the top and watch the activity! As I mentioned earlier (I do go on, don't I?) a fabulous shot.
A very good picture which brings me back to my business life, which I have almost forgotten in the meantime (coatings for structural steel and ships)I stopped working July the first 2007 LOL!!!!. Excellent "industrial art" which is now-a-days colorfull as well. Have a nice day Henk
It is a lot of color many lines, smells as sea air!!! It is well made!!!
Excellent composition,wonderful colors too!
An excellent industrial capture, great colour and detail!
Huge capture Kort .... !
Very fine pic !
Busy shot, so much to look at and discover tiny details what make this shot great.
I love this. The scale of things... Wow...
It amazes me how small those containers look, but knowing how large they are really gives an idea to ship size. Brilliant shot.
great lines and shapes my friend
Awesome capture, looks great!!
I have the Long Beach port and San Pedro out here. You give me reason to go see what i can find one day out there. Nice shot, Those ships are huge!
awesome huge shot! are you allowed to get close to the docks to get photos, as we no longer can here?
fantastic capture, I love the colors and all that you can see in this
Ratz...I thought we might see the new MEGA cranes in action, but this has enough eye-candy to keep us happy, kool composition and capture ! ~Cheers~ :o)
I enjoyed seeing these monsters come into the Houston ship channel loaded several stories high with containers allowing limited sight to navigate the seas. the car carriers was something else to see carrying around 12,000 cars on one ship. they would work 24 hrs a day and still take a week to unload.stunning clarity
A definite myriad of erector set objects in your port. The cargo ships look massive. Good POV, colors, and textures in this capture.
wonderful how they look. wonder how we can check all this stuff to see if it good that is comeing in? very good image
Superb capture, Kort! Very beautiful image!!!
Nice work...
WOW, what an eyefull!!!!! I live right on the water facing west and the shipping lanes, so I see some of these big guys go by often!!! I'm always amazed how much they can carry!!!!! Excellent image Kort!!!!!
