I am not sure why the fallen leave pooled in this one spot on the asphalt, but I found it of interest. Photographed in infrared and touched up in PhotoshopCS. ------

Unsolved Mysteries. Maybe a vehicle passed by causing a whirl wind of leave to settle in one place. Standby with your camera for another passing of a truck. Aloha
It is certainly strange the way they pooled together. Nature is truly mysterious... Nice treatment on this. Kudos!
That is interesting. And the IR enhances this shot nicely.
Now that IS odd! A very interesting shot and texture.
its a capture in the truest sence! bravo

IR is wild and cool, this is a very nice and subtle use- surreal and yet so seemingly normal.
very interesting... textures are fantastic.
Interesting..
Bad leveling on the ground ? maybe one of those mini-tornado's which in OZ we call "Willy willies" or a cleaner with a sense of humour ? who-ever or what-ever, it has made a kool IR shot ! ~Cheers~ :o)
very unusual and interesting
That's trippy! Nice one!
Now you have perked up my curiosity. I am wondering why as well. The wind? or maybe someone wanted to keep the street tidy and swept them into a pile? This will haunt me! lol Another fabulous find and photograph, Kort. Hugs, Suzanne
Firstly I thought about feathers before reading you treated IR . Unusual !
Very interesting image, love the textures in this!
Genial series Kort... nobody investigates like you. Very well done !
Pretty weird huh...great image Kort S
i thought of feathers too, cool shot
:-)
Love the contrast in color and textures. A lot of strange things take place in Florida...lol
Someone plucked a chicken? Looks like a pile of feathers...very cool!! Amazing what the infra-red does to an image.
It's like the mystery of the crop circles (cue music from the Twilight Zone!!) Excellent capture and superb in IR. Hugs. xx
Oh Kort, absolutely fantastic... I adore!
Very cool!!
Maybe there is some kind of magnetic attraction going on there with those leaves. That is odd. Crop circle time for sure! The leaves in IR resemble little sardines in their penchant for packing themselves in tight, like in sardine cans! Oh, nice POV and composition!
maybe a small twister did these. very unusely looking
The IR gives this a really textured look. Great shot.
A passing whirlwind? Cool shot. BJ
Love the color contrast here!!!
What ever the reason, It makes for and interesting shot..Aloha~
