No idea what this is; I've tried looking it up, but no luck. I found him sitting on my Lily ... I was surprised it didn't hop away at all - allowing me to have quite the photo shoot with him. :) It was fun.
Thanks for stopping by; it's back to work I go today after having a week off. It's gonna be TOUGH! But I'm actually looking forward to getting back into the normal routine again. (trying to convince myself here lol)

Wow! A metalic bug, is it radioactive? I'm with SecondChoice on this, some sort of Locust, never seen one that bright before. What a fantastic capture! Bravo!!

I've seen these before and heard the name but of course I can't think of it. sigh It is a fantastic close up of it though. Nice contrast of colors and the little bugger is so clear. :)

Love the image. There must be a population of these bugs worldwide because I have one in my ready to post list also, lol. I am not positive but my best guess/research is that it is an immature katydid. Thanks for sharing. Lee
Great! looks like the one I posted the other day - and I got no Iota further than you. Though I'm pretty sure that it's not a katydid. Locust cut's it closer - but my guess is the same as on mine - a baby hopper of some kind. Good one!

I think it's a "Lilybug" ...hehehe I found some bugs on my Lilys too but mine weren't near as pretty as this little guy! I love what you did with the flower... and it really brings the focus in perfectly on the lilybug. :-) Excellent as always!!!
