I have a zoom that goes to 300. Best I'll ever own, especially now with no job here in Michigan.
I have been watching this same scene for the past 5 months outside my office window. In fact, we have 2 going up. Good shot for the distance.
Neat zoom test, but for a lens that big, a tripod is a must ! Interesting capture & ~Cheers~ :o)
Wow! Amazing shot for so far away! (and I have been trying to figure out how to take better pics. from the stands to the swimming pool...lol).
Nice test shot. There doesn't seem to be a lot of noise @ 400 speed ... wish I could say that about my camera.
Hi Richard! Great long range shot! Lots of good detail! :)
Powerful lens! Better with a tripod or monopod though, the latter being cheaper!
incredible powerful stuff ;-)
I would imagine I'd definitely need a tripod with that type of lens Richard. Nevertheless, there is tremendous depth of field here. Well done Sir! Steve :o)
wow that is very nice image!!!:)
Wow I like it wonders do amaze Sweet night to you with a smile
Superb shot! I am at Fairford Airshow this weekend in Gloustershire. I was lucky enough to pick up a Sigma 500mm zoom and a x2 converter from ebay last year. No auto-focus, but 1000mm! Lets hope I'm quick enough to catch the planes! Excellent image Richard!
wow, awesome distance shot....imagine the view and shots we could get from up there!
Fantastic shot Richard. Most excellent view.
impressive clarity for a 500 without a tripod. hope this will encourage you.
TWO Miles? WOW.
What an amazing shot for being so far away I would get sick going up this high...I am afraid of heights...and airplanes.. Have never been on a plane before I would have to get tipsy before I boared one and since I don't drink would not take much grin or a knock out shot one.. Great capture sweetie... Hugs Susan~
Excellent view! Great shot!

Standing with a folder of food stamps under your hand in your pocket, looking at a t-crane, building such a big project is a experience in summing up survivial. Look! We are all here today!
