Description
When they reached the bottom of the boarding ramp,
a shrill beeping was sounded from the cockpit. Vik
sighed impatiently. "You go ahead, Cam" she said
as she rushed up the ramp, "I'll meet you at the
ladder to the bottom level." Camilla nodded
silently, and started across the landing pad, as
Vik disappeared back into their ship.
Camilla had just climbed the steps and stepped
onto the catwalk when she was hailed from behind.
She turned to see Vik waving her urgently to
return to the ship.
"What is the matter?" she asked as she joined the
younger woman at the ramp. "We've been recalled,
Cami." she replied tensely, "We've new orders to
return to Hound's Tooth Station at once!"
"But what about our mission?" Camilla asked,
shocked. "Scrubbed." Vik answered, "and that's
not all. I picked up a priority Omega signal on
the Fleet comm channel." Camilla looked sharply
at her partner, who nodded slowly. "Something
VERY big is going on, and we'd better get back
to find out WHAT!"

totally awesome render, beautiful work!
That's a fantastic image.
Pretty awesome and it definitely suits your style of storytelling!
Dynamite ! love your story too!
It´s a ace image!! I tip on my hat!!
Wow...wonderful job!!!
Hmmmm--Dry looking windows grabbed my eye-balls right off. Doing toon shaded is more forgiving with trans textures on glass. Find out the orientation of the glass by using the Mat room to put a fine bar tex on it, then you can line up a streaky tex to mimic wet windows. If you're feeling REALLY frisky, you could do a Specular of same kind on your ship tex! Otherwise--Kick-ass! Good placement, set-up and posing. Good over-all scene direction! A couple of tweaks--and you will RULE!! ^__^ V,,
excellent work
I look forward to seeing more on this :)
Great. Like the comic style. Excellent done.
Terrific scene, story telling and work!!!
I like the rain effect. The whole image is very "Heavy Metal" like. I agree with the previous comments on the windows. As it is, the windows are not only too transparent, they give the impression that there is nothing in that ship. You might consider putting some props in there. It's a lovely model, I have it myself. It's unfortunate that it's a little too narrow to easily contain the control chair made by the same artist. I've been (very slowly) putting together an interior for this ship. (OK, since I only work on it when I'm stuck for ideas, and have time, I've got like, maybe, two props attached).
