Description
caught this flight shot a few weeks ago of this hover fly, shot in bright sunlight but i still could,nt pull the shutter speed to get any of the wings in motion due to the speed they were going.
had another go today in the back yard and got a few shots with some wing movement but i think i need to practice a little more on this type of shot.
hope you like it and it dose,nt look like ive just launched him into the air.
all the best

Wow, awesome detail. I for one don't care that he has no wings, kinda makes him 'armless... Ok, I'm sorry! Lol

Knowing how difficult it is to capture a shot like this, you have done one amazing job. Wings or no wings, this is going to my fav. WOWWWWWW
