Description
It takes a lot of work to keep an old warbird flying. The mechanics at the Museum of Flight on Scholes Field in Galveston, TX are getting the Boeing B-17G "Thunder Bird" ready for an airshow. Hats off to the guys with the tools who keep 'em flying!

a mechanic on one of the WWII planes that come to Dallas told me that 3 months out of the year, they break the engines down for complete overhauls and fly the other 9 months.excellent capture
