Description
This shot would almost be one of my favorites of the series, but those stowed canoes in the background distract from the main character. I'd entertain suggestions on how I could deemphasize them. I tried playing with desaturation in PhotoSHOP, but the selection of the canoes is problematic due to their extremely soft edge. I end up with a border around them if I desaturate them alone. I'll have to keep chugging on that.

You have done well with the image size and a lot less artifact showing here A great image of the Osprey returning to the nest.. The Clone and heal tools would be my suggestion and it would keep things looking natural as opposed to the desaturate plan

Great job with the photo, and the work on the canoes. I saw one suggestion of the clone tool, but I'd also suggest using the blur brush to selectively blur out something you want de-emphasized. You did a really good job with this one!
