Description
Took a little hike alone in the Kalopa Native Forest State Park. Nothing colorful but beautiful forest green in there. Afterwards, went to the camping ground area and found this little Hibiscus. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

absolutely wonderful shot! beautiful!
Beautiful shot! Love the background, really makes the flower stand out being so dark.
Love how much it stands out from the background, great shot mate.
I can see a beauty in a single yellow flower found in a green forest. That live cam is cool, you bring a volcano so close to us...thank you Errol.

Fabulous! I love that bright yellow against the darker greens. Awesome composition and light.
Really lovely floral capture Errol, lots of nice contrast. If it were me though, I would have zoomed in a little more and cropped out the plants to the right.
Lovely light I do agree with Kort regarding the closer POV
I also agree with Dan and Kort, but still a lovely shot....

Eerie shot of the pretty hibiscus sitting up there all by its tiny lonesome against a black background. Good POV and clarity!
love how it comes out the dark like this. Makes the colors more rich.
Such a lonely little guy, but that's what makes it so interesting....nice shooting~ Aloha~
Very pretty, Eroll. It just shines against that dark background. Thanks for the link. Even in the dark I can see lots of glowing spots. It will be fun to look during the day.
Sweet isolated Hibicus. Neat and different.
