...but I glad you did take your first shot of a flower long time ago and still do. This is fantastic capture with a very good compo and a red color is so beautiful.

The red color is always a color to make me crazy with my camera, but you, you make a really good picture on it ! Excellent flower ! Good day :)
Your flower pictures are just as awesome as your lava shots. I enjoy them all. You showcase the beauty of Hawaii so well.
And to think there's so many beautiful ones in your area to take photos of. Surely enough to keep you busy for a while. :)
I'm thrilled you're taking pictures of flowers! This is superb. I've seen somewhere around . . . oh . . . a million hibiscus flowers on Renderosity, and they're all beautiful, but you've managed to find a different POV, a unique presentation. Fabulous work! I never thought I'd be doing photography AT ALL! I started taking photos to use as textures in my Blender 3-D work. The last five pages in my gallery have been one long accident!

You've been around a million years? Please tell me your secret! Excellent POV and capture of this red hibiscus with its beautiful long tongue! The upper lighting really brought out the textural effect of the petals.

I thought the same thing when I started taking flower shots - but there's something fascinating about the results you can get. Beautiful shot!
