Description
I think this is what's called a "Longhorn". Interesting little critter, huh? I like the colors. They are bright and cheerie :) It wasn't very easy focusing on him, as he is very tiny.
I hope you guys had a great day; thanks again for stopping by!!
Shari

Great shot and I love the colors, too! Wonderful DOF giving the pink a shimmery look.
cool shot . I like the focus
Pretty neat little critter. I have not seen one of these. Nice capture. I think the focus is not as bad as you think it is, lol BTW - I have found that when I am trying to focus on very small critters, it sometimes helps if I focus on part on the "perch" or background plant that is near the critter (but the same distance from the camera) instead of on the criter itself. My camera sometimes has a hard time locking focus on very small subjects but has better results with the larger material they are on. Just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing. Lee
Love the colours. And thanking Leeco ^^^^ for his suggestion. I tried a baby cricket the other day...
I never saw this insect before ... The composition and colors are very pleasant ! An excellent shot Shari, bravo ! ------- I often change the focus area of my camera to a single spot so i can easyer focuse on tiny objects. Generally i use the central spot but i must crop the picture for a better centring.
Nice color and picture erland
wonderful how the background vanishes. and wonderful in colors!
Excellent work and pretty focus!!
Great contrasting soft background. The head detail of the bug is excellent.
