Description

Another iris from the Walsterway Iris Gardens in Maltby, Washington. I loved the way this one is standing so straight, and with the flowers in the background, it looked to me like it's standing guard for the rest. (Fanciful, perhaps, but hey - we're all artists here, and if we can't be fanciful with each other, life just wouldn't be any fun!) :)

very nice close up and good pov. I can see inside it. It does have sort of a stand-out quality, huh?

OHH WOOOW ! Is this a wonderful Iris. The colors are breathtakingly beautiful. And ofcause you are right. We can all be fanciful together and let life be a little more fun. 5* for such a superb shot and I will add this.

Gorgeous blending of blue, mauve, purple and white colors in this lovely capture, my dear! And, as I've mentioned before, I love the frilly, serrated-edged petals of this neato iris. The leaf at the bottom reminds me of a purple cabbage leaf. Also, great lighting effects and detail.
