Description
I got to reading your notes about the image and I thought "hmm...."
After I reduced the sign to BW, I could "see" its appearance on some newspaper inside a half century ago. The photo would have shown the two new owners standing proudly in front of their new sausage shop. A row of white-aproned men stood behind them, ready to man the new store once the ribbon was cut. And of course there would also be some of the neighbor ladies waiting patiently for their chance to come in and buy the 30-cents-a-pound sausages.....
But the more I look at this sign, the more I'm thinking about painting it in a super-realist style, albeit with a limited color palette.
Okay, there's one summer painting project......

Nice rendition. I actually prefer the B&W better than the color version. Nice work.
Yes I agree the B & w is better lokking maybe more realistic:
both looks good to me. bet it tast good
Thank you for listening and trying out an idea and taking it to another level. egmont
Look better in B&W,but I think you are right, coyld be an awesome sight if painted in super realist style, like some oldadvertising from the 60',Well done!
Stunning as all your work...Hugs
Yes, with teh B/W look it has something vintage . And exactly THIS was my thought before reading Your imagecommant :) Greatly done:)
I love what you've done with this one. I can see rendering it either way you have in mind, and I could even see doing the "futurist" style that was done in the early 1920's.
The kind of signage I would make up in 3D!! Cool photo!!
