Description
Nikon 7900 image.
I realize this is not that great of an artistic image but it is a decent photo of this Dragonfly that I had been wanting to capture for some time.
I was pretty stoked when I finally got this shot so I am posting it. I have not seen a male of this species yet but I did manage to get another shot of a female and will post it tomorrow.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

Excellent capture of the veining of the wings. Gorgeous job of postwork.
Amazing shot. Love it!
Wonderful capture of this beautiful critter with the delicacy and intricacy of the wings detailed so perfectly. I love the almost metallic look to its head/eyes. Great capture. xx

Love the dragons... nice shot.
Great shot love the clarity and colour of this dragonfly
Beautiful capture - but the massive frame is not to the images advantage - it intrudes into the main image.
