Description
I found this golden chain tree in a neighborhood several miles North of Seattle. The main trunk had to be six or eight inches across, so it's been around for a while. I was standing on fairly level ground, shooting up into the tree. The flower clusters are probably 10 to 12 inches (25 to 30 cm) long.

there is one of these around the corner from me...it's so beautiful when it is in bloom which won't be for a few more months yet here...you have captured it lovely......
Excellent Capture!
Very beautiful. But they don't look the same when the blooms begin to drop. What a mess flowering trees can make when they are done looking pretty! :-)
