Description
Another shot from my World War II weekend at Pickering. This very proud gentleman was the Station Master at Pickering Railway Station, which is part of the North Yorkshire Moors Railways. The steam trains run throughout the year and all those involved are very proud of these magnificent machines and do all they can to keep the tradition alive.
Thank you all very much for all your kind comments on my 100th upload. I was very touched.
Have a lovely Wednesday. Eileen xx

Really awesome!!! I love the portraits you make!!! Very nice!!!
Another superb capture to add to your prized collection, My dear sister! The clarity and colors/colours are magnificent, as is your wont. With your portraits of elderly humans, you are recording the very last vestiges of a rapidly disappearing era.
