Description
This old road is on the southeast side of Mt Hood. I discovered it almost by accident last weekend. Sometime soon I'll walk it to its end and see where it goes. This is in fact the road you can see at the bottom of the Laurel Hill Chute from two days ago. Wouldn't the pioneers have welcomed a paved road. :-)
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Awesome shot ... You feel like you're walking there ...
It can't be abandoned...you are there. LOL. Beautiful shot!
Abandoned but still traveled from time to time, as I would not mind venturing down this path to see what there is at the very end. Thank you for sharing. egmont
To wander down this road would be a pleasure. Wish I was going with you

Gorgeous shot! I'll be right there.
Great shot. This could be a long walk for you. I can see you get your daily exercise with all you hunting and shooting. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to shots from this walk.
Little by little, the forest retakes it's own. Great shot, wonderful mood and lighting :)

Such a contrast between this and the chute. Serene and peaceful. It reminds me that so many things are like that. There is only a thin veneer on the face of many things.
