Description
We were in Cleveland, OH, USA for a few days and visited the zoo. This is one of the less colorful images but I like it.
These bears are huge..quite a difference when seen in the wild, though. Then, your heart is not calm as at the zoo.

1st Comment. Yay. What a marvelous looking animal this is. Power. Beauty. And the claws. Nice pic.
Oh so cute... wonderfull capture!
Wonderful portrait and super colours. Hugs
Such a sad looking bear, a nice photo but a sad state of affairs, with these magnificent creatures trapped in zoos? Having to totally supress their instincts and submit to the general public throwing wierd food at them????? Have you seen the polar bears in the heat of Los Angeles??? Incredibly wrong!!!!!!!! ~ ok off my soap box now... whew...

Look at those nails! Wow. Great capture, Tom.
Tom, this shot is most excelent, I like those huge claws and a slight tilted head of a bear!
Excellent capture & POV, looks like he is leaning against the bar waiting for another drink Stuart
