Description

Chupacabra (also chupacabras, from Spanish chupar: to suck, cabra: goat; goats sucker) is a cryptid said to inhabit parts of both of the Americas. It is associated particularly with Puerto Rico (where it was first reported), Mexico, and the United States, especially in the latter's Latin American communities. The name translates literally from the Spanish as "goat sucker." It comes from the creature's reported habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestock, especially goats. Physical descriptions of the creature vary. Eyewitness sightings have been claimed as early as 1990 in Puerto Rico, and have since been reported as far north as Maine, and as far south as Chile. Though some argue that the chupacabras may be real creatures, mainstream scientists and experts generally contend that the chupacabra is a legendary creature, or a type of urban legend. It is supposedly a heavy creature, the size of a small bear, with a row of spines reaching from the neck to the base of the tail. Poser mesh by Sixus1 heavly morphed. Comments are welcome!

Cool image! Always love a good "creature" image. And I really liked you data. I've read some of the more...let us say...'non-mainstream' theories about the little sucker (hey, a pun!) . One of the ones I love is that the Chupacabra is a desendent of a alien lower-lifeform. Think of a ancient scouting party (say the Greys, just because I LOVE those intergalaxtic mushroom-heads!) lands on Earth before the Dawn of Humanity. Well, like our own Armed Forces, they might have brought along their version of attack/guard dogs. Okay, the aliens knock around the Earth for time, buidiing Stone Henage, making some Easter island 20-ton door-stops, and maybe mucking around with some ineresting-looking apes DNA. While all this is going on, "Muffy" & "Puffy" slip their leashes and head for the hills. A few thouands years and alot of interbreeding later, we get little charmers like the one duo worked up for us. Makes you wonder, uh?
