Description
Hi all! I'm back to haunt these cyber halls once more! YAY!!!!
The pc gremlins have been tamed....I hope and I am slowly uploading my files once more. For those who feel like idiots for always backing up their files....DON'T! (feel like an idiot that is)
This is a shot I took at the top of Mount Donna Buang in Victoria with my Canon Powershot A95.
The day was all cloudy and misty. I took a great AVI of the clouds passing from the lookout. Great shots but OMG it was FREEZING!
The moodyness of the setting with just a hint of colour in the foreground caught my eye, but as I only had one pic left this is the only one I got....sort of fitting somehow I think.
The only post work is the cropping to lose an ugly red fixture in the far right of the pic, the frame/title and I set it a little wider than the original pic as it seemed to balance better (I accidently found that out when using it as a cool desktop pic on my pc and the pic was slightly widened, rather than left long.)
Thanks for taking the time to look.
Any comments and critiques to improve my work are always welcome.
Have a great weekend.
Jenny

Really great photo. That is an excellent tree. I like how the branches almost swirl. Glad I caught it.

I'm very impressed....excellent shot!
Lovely misty mood!
I love the misteriousness about it, excellent mood. I hope to see you around more regularly. Good luck, I hope you are well.
I love old trees, they have something cross between character-spookiness-and something cross between wise and mysterious about them. It is sad to see them removed for the likes of houses that won't stand the test of time. The fog adds a very nice touch :) Good job on the image!
