Description

I've noticed something recently that I find sad: out there in the real world there is prejudice against digital art. For example, when an art cafe owner realized that my art prints were "digital" she suddenly lost her interest in displaying my works, and I suddenly felt like an outcast. I got a bit mad and mentioned that I could paint that oil splatter she had on her walls with my eyes closed, but I choose not to because it would bore me to death. It seems that many traditional "art" people believe that if an image is not made with chemical paints it's automatically inferior. Well, all this got me hooked on a new dream... to someday build an art museum just like this, and guess what... ONLY DIGITAL ART ALLOWED! ;) Now this image is dedicated to all of you that have worked so hard to create great images and still took the time to look and comment on my stuff. This image is yours. The credits go to: aliensprog AngelOfFire bunnystuff Burpee castaneda Death_at_Midnight duo EngleWolf eyeland garyandcatherine icm Incarnadine jstsittinghere Justmel KatesFriend Rutra skiwillgee soffy TheBryster I'm sorry that I couldn't squeeze all of you in, but there are many, many more of you that deserve a spot in this museum.

Digital art is for me the most exciting form of expression out there. Sure we can respect and appreciate the great canvas painters, but great digital art still requires great skill and imagination. Nice render by the way.

It looks like the National Gallery in London. A fantastic idea. The lighting on the walls brings out the texture of the materials.

dont worry about what she thinks, digital art is different than oil painting art. In fact digital art you have to think different and be more creative that traditional oil painters do because from what I see here in your Bryce work, you went beyond what regular bryce people do. I do bryce and there is no way I can come up what you do here .
