PIN-UP SERIES 3 - PART 2
--------------------------------
Model: Alisha
Background: The idea came up some time ago to do a series of Pin-Up type shoots centering around the 1940s WW2 era for a possible Calendar/Book/Website idea. It's a ever on-going project and quite a lot of fun! The project would cover near perfect copies of vintage pin-ups and aircraft nose art, and would also have a majority of new poses/outfits themed in the 1940s style.
Photo Description: Stepping forward in time but keeping with the theme from Part 2, I thought it might be fun to do a more modern day US Marine pin-up in the style of the one from World War 2. In this case, she's holding a US Marine/US Navy Boeing F/A-18C Hornet made by Blue Box Toys (BBI) in 1:18 scale. She's wearing a real US Marine top.
Camera: Canon EOS 20D with Canon 28-135mm USM IS lens.

LOVE IT!!! :o)b
Fantastic Pin-Up, Very Well Executed !!!
She seems to have lost the real Marine bottom. LOL. :D Very beautiful...great model too. Well...both of them, but I meant the plane initially. lol
super. love her face
It's a really fantastic concept and VERY well executed. I'm just finding myself sitting here thinking whether she should've been wearing a US Airforce top?
These are so much fun...and quite well conceived and executed. Thanks very much.
Blue Box would no doubt see more of these Hornets if she were on the package! Nice work, Britt.
i enjoy these immensely, as a big fan of both jets and pin-up/ tattoo art these photos are the cashews on the sundae. thanks and great job. TomDart your rabbit avatar is creepy LOL
