I was just thinking how a photograph in the living memory of a photographer has more value than a photograph in an archive after he/she is gone. Helmut Newton or Ron Cavullo come to mind as hard to find now. Now this somewhat Japanese tintype that speaks to a dusty phtogrpahers studio in Oray, Wyoming or framed in a a historic home in New Mexico spans the Japanese Gardens in Boynton Beach, Florida. Sure, I know how to make a photograph do that in PSP or Photoshop but this is yours, it's Texas and you are still alive. That's worth more to me.
