Description
I hope on one minds the amount of post processing on this. The background was a disaster, so I pulled the blossom out and stuck it on solid black. Believe me, it's better this way. :-)
I liked the way these flowers trapped water. Every petal seemed to have its own puddle.

Beautiful blossom. Nice on the black background.
Yup - love the black background. Very striking with the soft color of the flower. Good choice!
Unusual flower and the love the puddles. Never seen a ginger blossom before but I do know if you buy a piece of ginger root from the store and plant it, it grows into nice ginger plant! Nice work!
These beautiful ginger always work best with a dark background. I know what you mean about the natural background as I do have ginger plants at my home. And that extra puddle of water makes it so refreshing. Beautiful work. Aloha
Great POV, very soft color.
Good post work - wonderful plant!
Beautiful...
I had no idea that ginger had such a beautiful blossom. I think I'll buy some ginger and plant it to see if I can grow a ginger plant. I love the little puddles too.
A real beauty! It seems so sturdy and yet so delicate all at the same time.
I don't mind at all. Excellent contrast.

And I'm sure those little puddles are for some other creature specifically, who couldn't live with out it!!! A symbiotic relationship you know... Great shot!!!!
