Description
This is back on my favourite walk near where I live on the banks of the Basingstoke Canal. Trying to get fit for my trip to North Yorkshire at the end of this week. Walked about 6 miles today, took about 30 photo's.
Any comments always welcome :)

Very typical british scene, nice to have the sun come out to play... the reflection adds a lot to the scene too
Nice scene. I've never seen a lock in person. I need to visit the UK.
This picture has it all. The spreading tree, reflection, iron work and wood. Great combo of visuals.
Excellent lovely subject, great capture!
Lovely reflections and great POV. I walked about one mile (tops!) around a stately home gardens and took over 250 shots - mind you, I'm struggling to find half a dozen gallery-worthy ones!! Great shot Fred, a must for me soon to go on a canal boat up some of Britains great waterways. xx
Excellent shot. The angles of the shot and the sun work very well together, good eye. It reminds of scenes near my hometown in Ohio.
This is a great shot! Love the colors, esp. the red brick in here. Well done.
Gutes Foto! Das ist wohl eine Schleuse?
A bit of a Classic scene in the U.K. And very well composed Bravo Fred!!
