Description
This is another picture that I took on my way to work yesterday. As you can see, it's definitely not looking quite Springish in upstate New York yet. Although it did rain today and melt most of the snow, we have more flurries forecast for this week. (sigh)
I hope you enjoy what I did with this... with the bit of blue sepia color that I added in postwork. I had to be especially careful taking these pics as my Pentax camera does Not like getting wet. I probably looked a bit silly standing under my little red umbrella taking pictures at 7:30 am... hehehe
Thank you so much to those of you who have commented on my pictures. I am looking forward to visiting all of your galleries this weekend!
(((Hugs))) and have a great weekend yourselves,

Your postwork makes it look like an old photo! Amazing what Mother Nature can surprize us with eh??? Hope you get some nice weather soon!!! Enjoy the weekend!!
What a fantastic photo! Almost makes me homesick--until I think of my much warmer temps, and going out with just a tshirt. :) (Originally from NJ, which is still much warmer than upstate NY, but my folks had a vacation place in NY State, so I know the weather well). I'll have to admit, you're in one of the most picturesque parts of the country. Congrats on the great capture!
This really is breathtaking, even if it's unseasonal!! I really like how you've postworked it!!!! Spring IS coming Maggie!!!!
very lovely looking
Beautiful - well done. Down here in FL - spring's already leaving and summer is about to move in...
Beautiful work Maggie
I know that it is probably pretty cold while you were taking this shot but it does look lovely, just what you would see on a postcard. I like the colouring.
I wish it had snowed like that here... It's 25 already today, in London in April... I ask you... Tisk, I'm not moaning I love it...
awesome Maggie. I would have loved to be able see it in person. I had an opportunity to capture snow falling in W Texas but it was a blizzard with a 40 mph wind. I was a warm climate person and could not handle the sting of the raw wind
Hi Maggie, Your postwork makes this photo look even more cold and snowey than it would do if not postworked. If you get me. lol. I think it looks beautiful
I look at this Mags and see a painting. THis would be a wonderful snow painting with a tiny cabin, smoke curling from the chimney dead center ... perfect shot!!!
Thank you all so much! :-) Pat...if you ever want to use this photo as a background or model for one of your paintings...I'd love that! :-) Thank you Lilliana and welcome to my gallery! :-))) Richard... belive me! I do understand how that cold wind can sting. PeeWee...I'm jealous! hehe Thank you npauling, Danob, kip and Jocko! :-) I sure hope so Akemi! sighs and looks at the calendar I have to agree Draegonlady... it is truly picturesque here in northern NY state and I'm fortunate. :-) Thank you keeneye and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend also! :-)
Wonderfully done sis, it looks so serene
