Description

Here is another shot of the beautiful red church near by. The last 2 hours I worked in my garden with the result of a huge headache, because of my bad shoulders. SIGH! But I cant just sit down and wait for it to be done by it self, can I. ? :))) My dear husband has lots of other things to do. Right now he is painting my little hut. LOL ! Thanks for dropping by and for comments to my drawing yesterday. Have a wonderful day. We still have the most lovely mild weather. Sun is shining and no wind and the birds are singing in the sky. We just had a visit of Katrine the crow :)))

This is a most fascinating church building - I'm still trying to determine what it was build with - stone, wood etc... I love these picture of your homeland as I've never had the pleasure of visiting Denmark yet I have met many Danes on my travels. Take it easy with the gardening . . . it can be very hard work. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece of history with us.

gorgeous view and rich colors. Great shot. I know you must be enjoying the fresh air. Working in the garden often hurts at the end of the day but its one of those pains that I don't mind so much because I have a peaceful and pleasant time getting that way. :-)

Thanks Indoda. Here is more information. Odden Church Is from about 1300th century. It has been painted with red Chalk since 1879 In 1700 it had different private owners. In 1791 it came back to the king and in 1873 it got sold to the 42 citizents of the area. The church is builded of Monk bricks, as we call them here. Here is link to more pics.
